Unlocking the Secrets to Registering for Cuet Exam Successfully.

1. Registration
The first step is to register for the CUET 2023 by going to the test's official website. They must then click the "New Registration" link and attentively read the instructions before continuing. They must then choose a password and security question, as well as fill out the registration form with their personal information, contact information, and address. They will finish the registration procedure after inputting the security pin. The login and password will be sent to candidates by registered SMS and email. The following fields on the CUET 2023 registration form must be filled out:
  • * Candidate Name
  • * Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Guardian’s Name
  • Date of Birth from drop-down box
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Identity Type (Select a valid Photo Identity Card type)
  • Identity Card Number
  • Present and Permanent Address
  • Email ID
  • Mobile Number and Alternate Contact Number
  • Choose Password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character and one numerical character)
  • Select a Security Question and Answer
  • Enter Security Pin
  • Verify the submitted details

  • Enter OTP sent on Mobile Number

Application Procedure, Step 2

The following information must be provided by applicants on the CUET application form:

  • Confirmation of PwBD category

  • Parent’s Qualification

  • Parent’s Occupation

  • Annual Family Income

  • Confirmation of Being a Twin

  • Domicile State

  • Confirmation of Being a Diabetic

  • Place of Residence

  • Mode of Preparation

  • Medium of Studying in Qualifying Education

  • Other Quota & Category Information and Confirmation such as BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Ward of Defence Personnel/Ex-Serviceman, Claim for NCC Quota, Claim for Sports Quota, Ward of University Employee



Education Details: In this section, candidates will have to enter their qualifying exam details such as the name of the board/college, passing year, marks obtained, and percentage scored. The fields to be filled are as follows:

Class 10 and Class 12 or Equivalent Education Details

The details to be filled in this section are as follows:

  • Result Status

  • Passing Year

  • Qualifying Examination

  • Place of Schooling

  • Type of School/College

  • Qualifying Examination Country, State and District

  • Board Name

  • School/College Name, Address and Pincode

  • Roll Number

  • Result Mode


Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates will have to choose two examination state and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.

Step 4: University/Programme Selection: Candidates will have to apply for one or more universities and programmes from the dropdown menu and click on the Add button. Candidates may change the selected universities/programmes by clicking on the ‘Update’ tab.

Step 5: Test Paper/Subject Selection: Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum 10 subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates will also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates will have to select NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.

 

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature

At this stage, candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications. The following table brings the details of the documents to be uploaded.

After this step, candidates will have to verify each and every detail entered and also verify their email id. They will receive an OTP in the email id and upon entering that, they will be redirected to the CUET 2023 application fee payment section.

Step 7: Application Fee Payment

Candidates will have to pay the CUET 2023 application fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It may be noted that candidates’ application fee status (paid/ not paid) would appear on the form.

The detailed breakup of the application fee amount will be given on the screen along with the payment windows, which are:

  • State Bank of India

  • Canara Bank

  • ICICI Bank

  • Paytm

After that, candidates will have to select the payment mode among Net Banking, Cards and UPI and complete the payment process.
